Philanthropy & Service
Philanthropy is a huge part of what we as Alpha Sigma Alpha's stand for. We have a great determination to help those around us and to give back. We have three nationals philanthropies: Special Olympics, Girls on the Run, and the Alpha Sigma Alpha Foundation that we have a strong connection with. Each semester, members do various activities to donate our time to local organizations. Each Spring, we go to the Byergo Cattle auction to make and serve food to attendees. This a very fun time and we have been doing this for many years. One of the owners of the farm is a Phi Phi alum and we love staying connected to her. We also decorate the senior center for the holidays, walk dogs and play with kittens at the Nodaway Humane Society, write letters to the senior center, and much, much more.
