Scholarship
Being one of our 4 main aims, scholarship is something the women of Alpha Sigma Alpha value considerably. We attend Northwest first, because of our academics, which is why we always strive to achieve academic excellence.

Alpha Sigma Alpha has received overall highest GPA over 5 semesters in a row and overall best New Member GPA 3 semesters in a row. We take pride in our diligence.
​
In Alpha Sigma Alpha, we like to make academics fun as well. Every time a member receives an A on an exam or paper, they are entered into our "Smarty Panties" award where, at the end of the semester, a name is chosen to receive a gift card. Additionally, our scholarship chair, Claire White, selects one "Study Bug" each week. This girl is typically someone who has gotten a good grade, spent extra hours in the library, or has been showing great academic improvement.

Weekly, our sisters record their study hours, so that we can keep ourselves and each other accountable.

We hope to continue our academic excellence in semesters to come and hope to continue receiving the overall best GPA award.
